Does Electroculture Work on People Too?
The principles of electroculture are universal, applying to all living beings—plants, animals, and humans alike. All life forms require the ability to receive atmospheric electricity and conduct it to the ground to maintain healthy functioning. This is usually called grounding. We’ve already discussed how electroculture benefits plants by facilitating the movement of sap from the roots to the rest of the plant. If a plant loses its ability to receive and conduct electricity, the flow of sap ceases, and the plant eventually dies.
But what about humans? Don’t our hearts pump blood, making this process irrelevant? While it’s true that our circulatory system relies on the heart, grounding—or direct contact with the Earth—plays a crucial role in our health. Early humans evolved without shoes, maintaining constant contact with the ground. This allowed them to naturally discharge the electrical energy they absorbed from the atmosphere. In modern times, however, we’ve become increasingly isolated from the Earth due to insulated footwear and synthetic environments. This disconnect is believed to contribute to various health issues.
Effect of grounding on our blood cells
When our bodies accumulate an electrical charge from the environment without a pathway to discharge it, imbalances occur. For example, blood cells can develop uneven charges—some positive, some negative—causing them to clump together. This clumping impairs their ability to transport oxygen and nutrients efficiently, potentially leading to illness. Grounding, or reconnecting with the Earth, allows the accumulated charge to dissipate. As a result, the body returns to a balanced, negatively charged state. In the case of blood cells, this means they regain a uniform negative charge. Equally charged cells repel each other, the clumps break and the cells can resume their normal function, promoting overall health.
In essence, grounding restores the natural electrical balance our bodies evolved to maintain, highlighting the profound connection between humans and the Earth’s energy. Of course, this is valid not only for humans but for all animals on earth.
